Vacation

This summer’s vacation was much needed and ended up on the calendar at the perfect time. We left for vacation on July 22 and returned July 29 and had our last Sunday with Victory Church on July 31. Our vacation was a nice bumper between what was and what was to come. This year we were blessed to be able to stay in a family members cabin located right outside Pigeon Forge, TN. This was the kids first trip outside of florida and our first official road trip as a family. This was an 11 hour drive and after only two hours Lia had already begun asking if we were almost there. Needless to say this 11 hours felt like an eternity. Overall the kids handled the trip well. Once there, Lia and Judah loved seeing the mountains and playing in the nearby creeks. The first day there we went to Ober Gatlinburg where we saw bears, rode the alpine slide, water-slide and enjoyed other mountainside attractions. Every day was a new adventure for the kids. From wilderness hikes to gem mining and river exploring our family was refreshed to get away and enjoy the Mountains of Tennessee.

Let the blogging begin…

Stay tuned as we give updates about our journey to plant a church. For the next week or so I will be working on general content for the blog and then we will begin posting to keep you up to speed. We will also attempt to utilize this blog to share family experiences and thoughts pertaining to life, ministry and theology. We hope you check back in soon!
